ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Helping People Grow

Jackie Shiff is a lawyer, executive coach and facilitator. Her insatiable curiosity about people coupled with her deep interest in psychology and leadership led to the founding of Abloom.

Jackie’s nonlinear path has been filled with change, risk and uncertainty. Much of her success has emerged from turning her vulnerabilities and challenges into personal growth. She is passionate about helping others do the same.

Jackie received a certification in executive coaching from Columbia University. Her experiences working across law, business, philanthropy and academia provided her with valuable insights about leadership, teams and organizational dynamics. Today, she helps leaders and management teams learn, grow and achieve – often increasing awareness, sophistication, focus and accountability.

Jackie was part of leadership teams at the Aspen Institute and the University of Chicago. She is licensed to practice law and served for two years as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Mary L. Mikva.

Most importantly, Jackie ran a very profitable lemonade stand as a kid in Chicago!
